Ann Maloney

November 8, 1915 — February 9, 2019

Ann M. Maloney, 103, of Duluth passed away on Saturday February 9, 2019 at North Shore Estates.  She was born in Alborn, MN on November 8, 1915 to Carl and Margaret Abrahamson.  Ann graduated from Alborn High School.  She worked at JCPenny for 22 years as a sales associate.  Ann was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church, the VFW and American Legion Auxiliary’s, morning bowling league at Country Lanes North, and the Goodwill Board of Directors.  She played volleyball until the age of 55, and she loved to dance.

She was preceded in death by her husband Eugene, and 3 siblings.

She is survived by her children Dennis (Renae) Maloney, Patrick (Rachelle) Maloney, and Susan (Mike) Hughes, grandchildren  Polly, Melissa, Ryan, Matthew, Caley, Peter, Richard, and Steven, and many great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday February 13, 2019 from 10AM until the 11AM Mass of Christian Burial in Holy Family Catholic Church.  Burial will be in Sunrise Memorial Park.  Arrangements by Williams-Lobermeier-Boettcher Funeral Home.  3208 W. 3rd St. Duluth, MN 55806.  218-624-1059.
