Beverly J. Dunaiski, 86, of Midway Road, passed away Monday, October 12, 2020 at the Beehive Homes of Duluth. She was born in Duluth on September 30, 1934 to Alfred and Myrtle (Dalton) Oakland. Bev was a 1952 graduate of Proctor High School and married Clarence Dunaiski on June 7, 1952 in Canosia Township. Bev enjoyed camping, spending time with family at the cabin on Comstock Lake, bowling and cooking. Bev was a member of St. Raphael’s Catholic Church and was active with the pasties group. Bev worked many years at Target where she was the customer service manager. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Clarence in 2018. She is survived by a daughter, Lyn “Lulu” McDevitt of Duluth; a son, Lyle (Michelle) of Superior, WI; a sister, Cheryl (Richard) Gutmann of Duluth; a brother, Loren Oakland of Duluth; she was “Grandma Bev” to six grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. The family would like to thank Jon and Nancy at Beehive Homes and the wonderful staff for their amazing love and care they provided. Due to the pandemic, private family services will be held.
