1968 Bob (Robert) 2025

Bob (Robert) Ward Radniecki

October 8, 1968 — November 28, 2025

Dorset

Bob (Robert) Ward Radniecki, age 57, of Dorset, MN, passed away peacefully on November 28, 2025, after a 7-year journey with early onset Alzheimer’s, with his wife Andi by his side. Even as the disease progressed, Bob’s quick wit, dry humor, and unmistakable spark stayed firmly intact—proof that sarcasm, once mastered, is apparently hard to shake.

Born on October 8, 1968, in Fargo, ND, to Dean and Angela Radniecki, Bob grew up in Aurora, MN, where he developed a lifelong devotion to fresh air, pine trees, and any activity that involved snow, speed, or questionable judgment. A dedicated runner and cross-country skier throughout high school and college, Bob carried his love for the trails with him everywhere.

Bob met his wife, Andi, in middle school, and the two of them skied their way into Bemidji State University—because nothing says romance like frozen eyelashes and a wind-chill warning. Shortly after college, they married and built a life rooted in the outdoors, family, and friends. Through the years, Bob built a meaningful relationship with Andi’s son, Josh, who supported him with great compassion through his Alzheimer’s journey.

Bob spent his career as a professional model builder and CNC machinist, known for his precision, creativity, and ability to fix almost anything. He was a skilled craftsman who built cedar strip canoes: handmade pieces that were truly works of art but were meant to be used.

When he wasn’t working, Bob was almost certainly outside. He loved fishing, snowmobiling, biking, and searching for moose sheds—though we all know he was secretly tracking Bigfoot. He was happiest camping or hiking with his beloved dogs, rockin’ out to his ‘tunes’, tending an unnecessarily large fire, and delivering one-liners that became family classics—mostly because we refuse to retire them.

Bob was preceded in death by his father, Dean Radniecki, grandparents Al & Vi Radniecki and George & Esther Whalen, and father-in-law Gale Mugge.

He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Andi (Mugge) Radniecki, and son Josh Mugge; his mother, Angie Radniecki; brother, Joe Radniecki; sister, Monica (Mike) Hendrickson; niece, Rebecca (Phil) Manley; nephew, Ben Hendrickson; great-niece, Adeline Manley; mother-in-law Renae (Bob) Mugge, brother-in-law Matt (Kelsey) Mugge, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
