Bruce Leo Karasiewicz

Bruce Leo Karasiewicz, 71, of Duluth, died Thursday, May 29, 2025 in Essentia Health. Bruce was born on March 11, 1954 in Duluth to Leo and Marie (Bloomstrom) Karasiewicz.

Bruce attended Franklin, Irving and Bryant schools and the United Day Activities Center in Duluth. He worked in the mailing department at the Day Activities Center for many years.

Bruce was a member of the former St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church and is a member of Holy Family Catholic Church.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, John and Vernie Bloomstrom; paternal grandparents, Frank and Eva Karasiewicz; his parents; and his brother, Kenneth.

Bruce is survived by a brother, Craig of St. Paul and sister Kathleen Twight of Duluth; special brother-in-law, Bryan Twight of Duluth; special aunt, Patricia Royer of Hermantown; special cousins, Karen Brickley of Munger and Sharon Royer of Hermantown

Visitation 10 am until the 11 am Mass of Christian Burial Monday, June 9, 2025 at Holy Family Catholic Church. 2430 West 3rd Street. Rev Fr Dale Nau officiating. Burial at Polish Catholic Cemetery. Arrangements by Williams Lobermeier Boettcher Funeral Home.
