Carol Dahl

Carol T. (Tranvik) Dahl, 88, of Duluth, passed away Sunday, Jan. 22, 2017. Carol was born Dec. 3, 1928, in Duluth, to Isaac and Thora Tranvik. She was a 1946 graduate of Denfeld High School. Carol married Arthur M. Dahl in 1952. Carol was a lifetime member of Zion Lutheran Church in Duluth where she was very involved since the day she was baptized. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Arthur; and brothers and sisters-in-law, Burt and Nancy Tranvik, Mark and Audrey Tranvik and Floyd and Martha Nelson. Carol is survived by her sons, Mark and David (Nancy); grandchildren Jeremy, Daniel (Cassie) and Katie (Chad) Pollak; great-grandchildren Adeline, Arthur and Jaxyn; step-great-grandchildren Dezi and Dominic; and nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank the staff of Edgewood Vista and Essentia Health-Miller Dwan for the wonderful care given to Carol and her family. VISITATION: 10 until the 11 a.m. service Wednesday, Jan. 25, in Zion Lutheran Church, 2431 W. Third St., Duluth, with Rev. Mark Osthus officiating.
