David Anthony Mavec

David Anthony Mavec of Hermantown, MN died on April 13, 2022 at the age of 66. He was born September 23, 1955 at More Hospital in Eveleth, MN to parents, Joseph and Helen Mavec. He graduated from the University of Minnesota in 1977 with a Bachelor’s degree in Mineral Resource Engineering. He worked for and retired from MNDOT in 2017. Preceded in death by parents and nephew, John Daniel Klemmer. Survived by wife, Jane; daughter, Sara (James Wanta), NYC; son, Joe, Hermantown; sisters, Patricia Klemmer, Judie Haug and Peggy Mavec; brothers, James and Thomas; special nephews, George and Paul Klemmer; and many other nieces and nephews.
