Dorothy A. “Diddo” Rackliffe, 91, of Duluth, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday June 17, 2022 in North Shore Estates surrounded by her family. She was born on August 1, 1930 in Duluth to John and Harriet (Brown) Swensen. Diddo grew up in the Norton Park Neighborhood where she lived her entire life. She was a 1948 graduate of Morgan Park High School, attended college and began working at Minnesota Power in the sales department. She married Arlen Rackliffe in Duluth on October 10, 1959 and started their family. Diddo was actively involved in Bethany Baptist Church, church ministries and leader in many organizations. She was defined by her unwavering faith and love of family. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; her son, Richard; three sisters, Lois Knutson, Florence Grandchamp and Elaine Salmonson. Diddo is survived by her children, Ann (Tim) Eliason, John (Jenny) and David (Tammy); daughter-in-law, Cathy Rackliffe; grandchildren, Cassie, Chais, Callie, Ty, Kaylee, Chelsea, Hunter, Derek, Lexi and Johanna; great-grandchildren, Kale, Lucy, Kynlea, Axton, Kennidy, Inara and two on the way. Visitation 10 am until the 11 am funeral service Friday, June 24, 2022 at Faith Baptist Church. 5693 Maple Grove Road. Pastors Brian Wiita and Mark Watkins officiating. Burial in Oneota Cemetery. Arrangements by Williams Lobermeier Boettcher Funeral Home.
