Elaine A. Dacken

Elaine A. Dacken, 81, of Duluth, passed away peacefully on July 28, 2024. She was born on February 2, 1943 to Al and Alma Funk. Elaine attended Mound High School, the University of Minnesota with a elementary teaching degree and the University of Minnesota-Waseca. After several years of teaching, she worked for a dental office. Elaine then became a vice-president’s secretary at Minnesota Power. After retiring, she returned to the dental office to retire one more time. Elaine liked outdoor activities, horseback riding, hunting, fishing, and canoe trips to the BWCA. Elaine was an active reader and church member. She liked to travel, downhill ski (NSPS), run marathons, all with her friend, Larry. She had many friends from work and the birthday group. Elaine was preceded in death by her parents. Burial will be in Livingston, Montana. Thank you to the Keystone Bluffs staff. I end this the same way we ended everyday-I Love You.
