Elizabeth "Liz" Ann Hendrickson

Elizabeth “Liz” Ann (Telega) Hendrickson, 49, of Duluth, died Sunday, June 5, 2022 in Essentia Health. Liz was born on December 29, 1972 in Duluth to Larry and Judith (Schmitz) Telega. Liz grew up in Duluth, graduating from Denfeld High School in 1991. After college, she worked at Georgia-Pacific for 19 years until they closed their doors.  Liz then worked for Advantage Emblem until this past March, when she could not work anymore. She was involved with Scouting for over 20 years, making sure both her boys achieved the rank of Eagle Scout. She loved to fish and be outdoors, enjoyed hiking and visiting State Parks.  She loved her gardens and flowers and she also loved to curl up with a good book. Most importantly, she loved her children, they meant the world to her. She was preceded in death by her grandparents. Liz is survived by her husband, David; sons, Elliot (Emily) Schmaltz of Duluth, Earl (17) and Adeline (14); parents, Larry and Judi; siblings; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. The family would like to thank Dr. Sawyer and Dr. Wiseman and all the nursing staff at Essentia St. Mary’s. A special thank you to Dr. Wagoner for the care, comfort and kindness he provided to Liz and us. Visitation 10 am until the 11 am Mass of Christian Burial Friday, June 10, 2022 at Holy Family Catholic Church. Rev Fr Anthony Craig officiating. Entombment at Polish Catholic Cemetery.
