Emma Johnson

Emma Johnson, 90, of Duluth, passed away peacefully Saturday, December 28, 2013 at the Franciscan Health Center surrounded by her family. She was born on April 21, 1923 in Duluth to Perry and Josephine Johnson. Emma worked at Goodwill Industries for 22 years, retiring at the age of 62. She received the perfect attendance award, never missing a day of work. Emma loved spending time with her family and was a lifelong member of the Salvation Army. She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Lillian Jones and a brother, Walmer Johnson. She is survived by her sister, Margaret Stortz of Duluth and many nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank the staff at Franciscan Health Center for the wonderful care they provided. Private family services will be held. Burial in Bethany Cemetery. Memorials to the Salvation Army would be appreciated.
