Fannie Merle Andres

Fannie Merle Andres, 85, of Proctor, passed away on January 30, 2026. Fannie graduated from Indus High School, provided daycare for several local families, and she worked for many years at Glass Block/Younkers where she eventually retired. Fannie was a devoted member of First Presbyterian Church of Duluth and later attended Midway Christian Fellowship. She was also a member of Lakehead Harvest Reunion. Fannie loved family, friends, faith, gardening, and animals. She was preceded in death by parents, David and Vivian Dobbs; husband, Dennis Andres. She is survived by daughter, Julie (Jeffrey) Peterson; a son, Johnathan (Mariya) Andres. She was further survived by three grandchildren, three siblings: two sisters and one brother. She also has many nieces and nephews. A special thanks to caring staff in her last few years.
