Gladys Anderson

Gladys Helen Anderson, 102, formerly of Duluth, died January 27, 2016 in Fridley, MN. She was born in Duluth on April 2, 1913 to Anton and Borgina Hanson and was a 1931 graduate of Denfeld High School. Gladys married Richard Anderson in Duluth in 1936. She had worked at Hanson Ace Hardware, Sears and Kelly Howe Thompson. Gladys enjoyed ceramics, camping, gardening and playing cards. In Duluth, she had been a member of Hillside United Methodist Church. Gladys is preceded in death by her parents, husband, son Gerald and brothers Howard and Robert. She is survived by her sons Thomas (Paula)Anderson, Ramsey, MN, Brian(Lisa) Anderson, Cambridge, MN, sister Ivadel VanWingerden Champaign, IL, 5 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Visitation 11AM until the 12 Noon Funeral Service Thursday February 4, at Williams-Lobermeier-Boettcher-Funeral Home, 3208 W. 3rd St., Duluth. Burial at Sunrise Cemetery.
