Gordy Wedin, 49, passed away on January 22, 2022 in Shreveport Louisiana due to a stroke. Born in Duluth Minnesota on September 17, 1972. Preceded in death by his parents, Gordon and Carol Wedin; and sister, Tawnya Wedin. Gordy is survived by his son, Brady; uncle and aunt, Jim and Norma Waller; significant other, Lori Miller; Siblings, Jeff (Yvonne), Jim (Cheryl), Lisa (Tim); Close Friends, Tony (Mindy) Sonneman and Chad (Stephanie) Twardowski, many friends cousins and extended family. Gordy graduated from Denfeld High School in 1991 has worked at RJ Sport and Cycle where he was a skilled mechanic that lead him to be that helpful friend that would fix anything. He was currently working for Kivi Brothers Trucking and enjoyed his coworkers and the countless conversations over the road. Gordy was a proud father to his son Brady, he was his biggest fan at his baseball and football games. He also passed on his love of hunting and archery and enjoyed their time in the woods and at their deer stand. Gordy was an avid archer involved in hunting and 3D archery where he would travel for tournaments. Snow cross hill climb races he excelled at as well. Growing up at the family cabin on Nichols Lake he created bonds and lifelong friendships that he cherished. Gordy will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved him. A Celebration of Life will begin at 1pm on February 27, 2022 at The Buffalo House Junction, 2590 Gus Road, Duluth, MN
