Janet Rae Banks

Janet Rae Banks, 62, of Duluth, passed away on Sunday June 30, 2024 after a short illness. She was born in Duluth on March 21, 1962, to Raymond and Stephanie LeFaive. Janet attended St. Jeans School and graduated from Duluth Denfeld High School. She retired as a lunch lady form the Duluth public school system. Janet was a proud Hall of Fame fan member of the VWO-Vikings World Order super fan, a Valkyrie knighted fan, and season ticket holder since 1999. She enjoyed going to concerts, car shows, rummage sales, and loved time spent with family at the holidays and babysitting her grandchildren.

Janet was preceded in death by her parents Raymond and Stephanie LeFaive Anderson, stepfather William “Bill” Anderson, sisters Michele and Diane, brother-in-law Tom Johnson. 

Janet is survived by her husband Rustin, daughter Lisa LeFaive, grandchildren Gemma and Jonah, siblings Joe (Patty) LeFaive, Jerry (Cindy) LeFaive, John (Barb) LeFaive, and Richard LeFaive, sister-in-law Brenda (Steve) Meirotto, and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Friday July 12, 2024, from 10AM until the 11AM Funeral Mass in Holy Family Catholic Church. 2430 W. 3rd St. Duluth, MN 55806.
