Jeanette M. "Jeanie" Johnson

Jeanette M. “Jeanie” Johnson, 85, of Duluth, passed away on Thursday, August 11, 2022 in her home. She was born in Duluth to Mae and Art Pieti on November 9, 1936. She attended schools in Duluth, married Donald P. Johnson and together they raised 4 children. Always a stay at home mom, but when the children grew up, she worked part time at Lowell School and Miller Hill Mall. Jeanette was a member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church and she belonged to the Naomi and Sarah Circle’s. She was preceded in death by her son, Keith, and husband, Don. Her survivors are 3 daughters, Kathy (Tom) Hoch, Kelly (Kevin) Johnson, Kristi (Jamie) Zempel; a daughter-in-law, Diane Johnson; grandchildren, Derrick (Lisa), Jennifer (Chris), Courtney, Aaron, Andrew, Jay, Anna, Josh and James; four great-grandchildren, Bella, Chloe, Jax and Haley; sisters-in-law, Thea Brower and Virginia Johnson. She loved all of us to the moon and back and we will miss her. Private family services will be held. Arrangements by Williams Lobermeier Boettcher Funeral Home.
