Jeanne Pearson, age 80, of Duluth, MN, passed away peacefully at home, after a courageous 13-year battle with breast cancer; her two daughters by her side. She was born in Duluth, to parents Raymond and Hildur (Paulson) Michaud and graduated from Denfeld High School in 1962. After finishing School at Duluth Business University, she worked at Harcourt Brace Jovanovich, Scott Graff, Jenos, Highland Supper Club, Spirit Mountain and retired from a 25-year career at Denfeld Super Valu. She was also a member of the former Bethany Lutheran Church and the West Duluth American Legion. She enjoyed life to the fullest; traveling, dancing, always laughing, attending outdoor concerts, happy hours with dear friends and neighbors, pontoon rides at the cabin, shopping excursions and hosting dinners and holidays. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Carl Holt and after his death, she found love, adventure and companionship again with Don Pearson who she married in 2004. They carried on the tradition of winters in Puerto Vallarta while also snow-birding in Ocala, FL. In addition, she was preceded in death by her parents; her in-laws, Albert and Hope Holt; a brother, Howard (Dorothy) Gudvangen; second husband, Don Pearson; a nephew, Dwain Mansfield; and her lifelong, best friend, Bobby Witzman. Mom is survived by her daughters, Erin (Scott) Walczynski of Willow River, MN and Leslie Holt (Amanda Myette) of Golden Valley, MN; two grandchildren, Christopher (Jeanie) Seczko and Alex Seczko; a great-granddaughter, Ava Seczko; a Sister-in-law, Lenore (Lloyd) Westermann; a brother-in-law, Bob Nading; a niece, Shari Mansfield and her three children; a nephew, Steven Gudvangen and his two children and our dear friend Kristy Schultz (Paul) who loved mom like her own mother. Sincere thank you, to Dr. Sande and the wonderful staff at the Cloquet Community Hospital, for their gentle care and handling of Mom. A celebration of life will be held in the Spring of 2025. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to St. Croix Hospice in Cloquet. Arrangements by Williams Lobermeier Boettcher Funeral Home.
