Jeremy Jon Sellin

Jeremy Jon Sellin was born July 3rd, 1989 to Brad and Ronda (Weeding) Sellin in Ortonville, MN. Jeremy was baptized and confirmed at Eidskog Lutheran Church in Ortonville. He attended James Knoll Elementary and graduated from Ortonville High School in 2007. While in school, he participated in band, choir, Knowledge Bowl, Honor Roll, and played baseball. He also played baseball in many summer leagues. He worked at Dairy Queen, Bills SuperValu, Snortums Landscaping and Howard Grain Farms. After high school, he attended the University of Minnesota Duluth where he graduated with high honors receiving degrees in Statistics and Economics. While in Duluth, he met Karen Olson. They were united in marriage October 27, 2012. From this union they were blessed with three amazing children Henry, Harper, and Hunter. They bought their family home in Saginaw, MN. Jeremy worked for Como Oil and transitioned to Thompson Gas where he worked in Business Intelligence. Jeremy was active in his church and with all kinds of family events. He enjoyed hunting, ice fishing, snowmobiling, and camping with his family.

He is preceded in death by sister, Amanda Ann Sellin; paternal grandparents, Darwood and Janis Sellin; maternal grandfather, Gaylord Weeding; aunt, Brenda Sellin; uncle, Russ Huizenga, and cousin, Dan Sellin.

He is survived by his wife, Karen; children, Henry (9), Harper (6), and Hunter (4); his parents, Brad and Ronda Sellin of Ortonville; sister, Jessica (Brian) Christner of Medina, MN; maternal Grandmother, Arlyce Weeding of Ortonville; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Randy and Patti Olson of Gordon, WI; brother-in-law, Glen (Alicia) Olson of Duluth; nieces and nephew, Mackenzie and Anders Christner and Eleanor Olson, along with many uncles, aunts, cousins, and special high school friends.

Visitation will be from 10:30 am until the 12 noon funeral service Saturday, May 17, 2025 at Eastridge Community Church. 3727 West Arrowhead Road, Duluth, MN. Burial in Oneota Cemetery.
