Linda Eastman

Linda May (Carlson) Eastman, age 68, of Hermantown MN passed away unexpectedly on May 25, 2020 in her home. Linda was born April 14, 1952 in Minneapolis MN. She was a beloved teacher in the Duluth School District until her retirement in 2008. Linda lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures; chatting with family & friends, traveling, reading, gardening, and volunteering. She was extremely kind and compassionate, had a superb sense of humor, and loved to laugh. She was preceded in death by her parents, Arnold and Maybelle Carlson; sister, Betty Ann Schooler; brother-in-law, Jerome Schooler. She is survived by loving husband of 40 years, Jeff Eastman; children, John Eastman, Hana (Kevin) McIsaac, and Patrick Eastman; sister, Kathleen (Sidney) Buffington; and many extended family members and countless friends. She will be greatly missed. There will be a memorial service to celebrate Linda's life held at a later date. Arrangements by Williams Lobermeier Boettcher Funeral Home.
