Lorraine M. (Breole) Novack, 87, of Duluth, passed away Monday, February 1, 2021 after a difficult battle with metastatic breast cancer. She was born in and lived most of her life in Duluth, attending St. Jeans School and graduating from Denfeld in 1951. She married Robert “Bob” Novack in 1954. Her life revolved around raising her five children and spoiling her grandchildren. She was a homemaker who enjoyed decorating the family home for all holidays and seasons. She amazed her family by preparing incredible meals for holidays and gatherings. She enjoyed playing piano, crafts, gardening and volunteering at church. She was a very kind and caring person who will be missed by all who knew her. She was reunited in Heaven with her parents, Louis Breole and Angeline Pangburn and her son, Jim Novack. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Robert; daughters, Kathy Novack, Pam (Rick) Christenson, Cindy Beaudin and Mary Ortt; nine grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and one on the way; many nieces, nephews, cousins and sisters-in-law. The family would like to thank Edgewood Vista Assisted Living and Caring Edge Hospice for their kindness and supportive care. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Second Harvest Northern Lakes Food Bank or The Damiano Center. A private family Mass will be held at 11:30 am Friday, February 5, 2021 at St. Lawrence Catholic Church with Fr Elias Gieske officiating. Visitation will begin at 10:30 am with Rosary Prayers. Entombment at Calvary Cemetery. Arrangements by Williams Lobermeier Boettcher Funeral Home.
