Marjorie Anderson

Marjorie J. Anderson, 85, of Duluth, passed away peacefully, Monday, May 6, 2019. She was born in Duluth, to Clarence and Katherine Thorp, on May 21, 1933. Marjorie went to Denfeld High School and graduated in 1951 then she graduated from Miller Hospital Nursing School in 1952. She was a nurse at Lakeshore Lutheran and Aftenro Nursing Homes among other places. She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Marijane Swanson and John Thorp; and twin grandchildren, Amy and Susan Zalar. Marjorie is survived by her husband of 65 years, Ralph E Anderson; children, Mary Katherine Lenarz, Joan (Dean) Linnell, Andrew J-E Anderson; grandchildren, Jena Young, Stephan Zalar; and great-grandchild, Jessabelle Olmstead. Memorial Service will be 11AM, Friday, May 10, 2019 with visitation one-hour prior, at Hope United Methodist Church 301 W St Marie St, Duluth, MN 55803.
