Marjorie M. Plucinak, 89, of Duluth, died Friday, October 2, 2015 in Viewcrest Health Center. She was born on September 25, 1926 to Leonard and Celia (Zoltek) Johnson in Duluth. Marjorie was a 1944 graduate of Denfeld High School and in 1948, she married Joseph Plucinak at St. Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Duluth. Marjorie worked for Zinsmaster Bread Co, Hermantown Liquor Store, APCO Plumbing and Auto Care of Duluth. She was an avid fan of the Minnesota Twins. She enjoyed picture taking, sewing, traveling with her children and the Duluth Accordionaires . Marjorie loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. In her retirement, she enjoyed playing cards with her good neighborhood friends. She was a charter member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church, Women of St. Lawrence, OK Club and volunteered for the Prayer Chain. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Raymond and Russell; two sisters, Florence Bartecki and Doris Blazejak; her husband, Joseph; two infant children and an infant grandchild. She is survived by her children, Robert (Linda) of Jupiter, FL, James (Marlys) of Cape Canaveral, FL, Gloria (Tim) Nelson of Hermantown, David of Palm Bay, FL and Jeannie Brandt of Cotton, MN; 11 grandchildren, Paul, Joe, Beth, Melissa, Jimmy, Jason, Amanda, Carlye, Mike, Lacey and Joel; six great-grandchildren, Kyle, Jasper, Brooks, Milla, Nico and Allison. Visitation 10 until the 11 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial October 12, 2015 at St. Lawrence Catholic Church, 2410 Morris Thomas Road. Rev Fr William Fider officiating.
