Marlene Horn

Marlene J. Horn, 90, of Duluth, passed away Thursday, March 31, 2022 at the Solvay Hospice House. Marlene was born on October 20, 1931 in Duluth to John and Gladys (Thompson) Hammer. She graduated from Denfeld High School and received a degree in Education from St Cloud State University. Marlene was a member of the Hooking Club, the Book Club and a member of the Living Stones Fellowship. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Ronald. Marlene is survived by three sons, Ron (Gloria) of Duluth, David of Minneapolis and Dan (Melanie) of Duluth; a brother, Ron Hammer of Duluth; three grandchildren, Kristie Haynes, Tom Horn and Brian Horn; three great-grandchildren, five great-great-grandchildren, three step-great-grandchildren. Visitation 10 am until the 11 am funeral service Saturday, April 9, 2022 at Williams Lobermeier Boettcher Funeral Home. Pastor David Ballard officiating. Burial in Forest Hill Cemetery.
