Michael Koralia

Michael Koralia, 81, of Duluth, died Saturday, September 2, 2023 at home with family and Essentia Health Hospice by his side. He was born on August 14, 1942 in Duluth to Michael and Helen (Davidovich) Koralia. Michael was a business agent for the City and County Public Employees Union Local 66 and also an OTR truck driver for Halvor Lines. He was a former member of St. George Serbian Orthodox Church. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers-in-law, Alvin Steinhilb and Gerald Bissell; a nephew, Oscar Steinhilb. Michael is survived by his wife of 54 years, Chrissy (Crain) Koralia; daughters, Vicky (Juan) Marquez, Theresa (Scott) Emerson, Susan (Patrick Mullen) Hartman-Mullen and Lisa (Tim Killian) Koralia; sisters, Pat Steinhilb and Geraldine Bissell; eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. A special thank you for the loving care provided by Essentia Hospice. Graveside service 10 AM Friday, September 15, 2023 at Oneota Cemetery with Fr Anthony Craig officiating. A reception to follow from 10:30 to 12:30 at Williams Lobermeier Boettcher Funeral Home. 3208 West 3rd Street.
