Myrtle Biles

Myrtle M. Johnson Biles, age 92, Duluth, passed away peacefully June 20, 2015. She was born in Duluth on May 26, 1923 to Carl and Ina Johnson and grew up in Hermantown and Maple, WI. Myrtle was a 1941 graduate of Proctor High School and the Young and Hursh Business College in 1942. She married Robert Biles on September 8, 1945. Myrtle was a bookkeeper for Silvers Dress Shop, retiring in 1987. She also worked in the office for the Blind and Zenith Mill Supply. She also did community service with the United Fund and American Cancer Society. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, infant son Ward, daughter Terri and son in law Dick Whiteside. Myrtle is survived by her daughter Tracy(Mark)Kilpela, granddaughters Tammi(Jeff)Norlund, Heather(John)Kaufhold and Adrienne(Jay Johnson)Kilsdonk, great-grandchildren Courtney, Gabrial, Logan, Chloe and her special grand puppies. She loved them all. Grandma passed away peacefully at home with Tammi and Jeff at her side. Visitation 1PM until the 2PM Memorial Service Wednesday at Williams-Lobermeier-Boettcher Funeral Home. Burial at Sunrise Cemetery.
