Norbert J. Telega, age 79, Duluth, died May 23, 2017, at Essentia, St. Mary’s, Duluth. He was born in Duluth on May 12, 1938 to Leo and Teresa Telega. He was a graduate of Denfeld High School. Norbert was a 60 year member of the International Association of Sheet Metal, Air and Rail Transportation Workers, Union Local #10, as a Sheet Metal Worker. He married his wife, Twyla, in Duluth on October 18, 1990. He was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church and the Friar’s of St. Francis. He loved his garden in Lakewood and also enjoyed woodworking. Norbert is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife, Twyla, step daughter Dianne, stepson Joshua, brother Larry(Judi)Telega, all of Duluth and many nieces and nephews. Visitation 10AM until the 11AM Mass of Christian Burial Saturday May 27, 2017, at Holy Family Catholic Church, 2430 W 3rd St., Duluth. Burial at Polish Catholic Cemetery. Williams-Lobermeier-Boettcher Funeral home is entrusted with final care.
