Patrice Ann Bjorklund

Patrice “Patti” Bjorklund, 72, died on April 5, 2025, from a brave battle with pancreatic cancer. She was born on December 1, 1952, to parents Walter and Betty. She was a proud member of the Denfeld Class of 1971. Patti was a natural leader with an eye for detail, exceptional organizational skills, and warmth that made everyone feel welcome. Her varied administrative career started at the UMD athletic department in 1972. This led her to a successful career at Realty Center in Edina, and Northwest Airlines as an executive assistant and traveled the world. Family was always her greatest priority. She returned to Duluth to care for her parents in their final years & retired from LHB Inc on 1-17-17. Her abilities also made her a sought-after member of various boards, but the Northern Lights Foundation held a special place in her heart. Patti is preceded in death by her parents and her brother Bob. She is survived by her brother, Gregg (Carol); their daughter Carrie (Cooper) their girls, Calleigh and Campbell Patrice; their son Brad (Kara) their boys Brody, Logan, Drew. Patti wishes to thank the many relatives and friends for their love a support during this journey. The family also wishes to thank the caregivers at Ecumen Lakeshore, The Duluth Heights Lodge Assisted Living and St Croix Hospice for their outstanding care.
