Phyllis Simon

Phyllis Marie Simon, 75, of Duluth, passed away at Solvay Hospice House on November 23, 2016. Phyllis grew up in Hibbing and then was married to Edward G. Simon for 53 years and they lived in Duluth. She worked at Fashion Wagon and then at Viewcrest Nursing Home for 25+ yrs. She loved wood carving, crocheting afghans, gardening, helping others with various projects. She was proceeded in death by her parents, Helen and Louis Bernard; husband, Edward Simon; brother, Dick Bernard. She is survived by her son, Edward J. Simon (Brenda) Simon; sister, Faye Prebich; grandchildren, Edward L. Simon and Kimberly Simon and many nieces and nephews. Visitation at 1pm-2pm Saturday Dec. 3rd with service to follow in Williams-Lobermeier-Boettcher Funeral Home. 3208 West 3rd St. Duluth followed by a luncheon.
