Robert Bjorlin

Robert "Bob" Christopher Bjorlin, 84, of Duluth, died Sept. 24, 2015 at United Hospital in St. Paul. He was born in Duluth on June 15, 1931 to Herbert and Anna Bjorlin. Bob was a 1951 graduate of Denfeld High School. As an accomplished "Garbologist", Bob co-owned and operated Reliable Garbage Service for many years, becoming well known for his wit around town. Bib overalls and yellow smileys were his trademark. He was a member of First Covenant Church in Duluth. Bob was preceded in death by his parents; wife Sis; brother, Donald, and sister, Adele Anderson and stepson, Terry Seczko. He is survived by his children, Stephanie Carlson, Scott (Cyndi) Bjorlin, Mark (Karen) Bjorlin, all of Minneapolis; stepchildren Judith (Dave) Hon of Wisconsin, Gene Seczko of Brainard; nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; seven step grandchildren and one step great-grandchild; and brother, Marvin (Char) Bjorlin of Minneapolis. VISITATION: 10:30 a.m. until the 11:30 a.m. Funeral Service Tuesday in First Covenant Church, 2101 W. 2nd St, Duluth. Burial at Union Cemetery. Williams-Lobermeier-Boettcher Funeral Home entrusted with final care.
