Robin Nelson

Robin Lloyd Nelson, 55, of Duluth, died Sunday, September 23, 2018 at his residence. Robin was born on October 29, 1962 to Roger and Helen Nelson in Virginia, MN. Robin served in the Minnesota National Guard and worked as a laborer in the asbestos abatement field. Robin enjoyed the outdoors, camping, fishing, gardening, and working with sled dog teams. His interests included rock hunting and geology in general. He was preceded in death by his parents and former wife, Lori Nelson. He is survived by three daughters, Jennifer Nelson of Rochester, MN, Heather Keller of Hibbing and Taralyn Nelson of Forest Lake, MN; a sister, Kerry MacInnes of Minneapolis; two brothers, Ross Allen (Marta) Nelson of Scandia, MN and Thomas Ryan Nelson of Woodbury, MN; five grandchildren, Brianna Vittori, Aiden Shepherd, Bryce Keller, Joseph Shepherd and Olivia Shepherd. A gathering of family and friends will be held on Saturday, November 3, 2018 at Robin’s residence, 6317 Elinor St, Duluth, MN 55807 from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m.
