Samuel Jon Nevius, 27 of Kihei, Hawaii passed away on January 3, 2016 in Duluth, MN. Celebration of Life for Sam will be held at Kamaole Beach III, Kihei on Sunday, January 17 at 10:00 am with the scattering of his ashes. Sam was born on Maui January 26, 1988. He grew up playing soccer, Little League baseball, in-line hockey, golf, skied like a pro, Jujitsu, loved to fly fish, had his private pilot's license, hiked Colorado 14ers and so much more. Sam was always a great student who loved to read and learn all the time. Sam graduated from UCCS with a biology degree and was fluent in Spanish. Everyone remembers Sam's big smile and friendly ways. He would want everyone to be strong and to work hard to achieve all you are capable of. Samuel is survived by his parents, George & Nancy Nevius, his brother Max Nevius, his grandmother Elaine Opack & aunts, uncles & cousins. Sam will forever be in our hearts.
