Shirley O'Brien

Shirley (Anderson) O'Brien, 81, of Superior, passed away Monday, December 29th with family by her side. She is joining her parents, Lawrence and Maude Anderson; brothers, Lawrence "Buddy", Roger and Billy, where she already has the coffee pot on. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, John "Jack" O'Brien; sons, Mark, Tom (Ann Murray), Mike (Sharie Craven), Scott (Shawn), Pat (Kristi); daughter, Cheryl (Jack) Pillsbury; brother, Robert "Punky" Anderson. She was her grandkids' biggest fan: Jamie, Cena, Dustin, Alexis, Aaron, Kaitlin, Amy, Eric, Jordyn; great-grandkids Ryan and Cameron; many nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws, friends and her beloved dog, Miley. While Shirley was a caregiver to so many for so many years, a special thanks to the staff at Saint Francis in the Park Memory Care Unit for their excellent care and compassion this last year. Celebration of Shirley's life, 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. Saturday, May 9, 2015 at Billings Park Civic Center. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Alzheimer's Association is greatly appreciated.
