Twylla Sundin

Twylla Mardelle Sundin, 85, of Proctor, went home to be with Jesus Tuesday, March 11, 2014 at Golden Oaks in Proctor. Twylla was born April 29, 1928 in Remer, MN to Lyle and Theresa Peabody. She grew up in Remer and West Duluth. She married Roy Sundin on January 13, 1947. They resided in Duluth, Hermantown, Norton Park, Grand Rapids and finally Proctor. Twylla was an active member of Apostolic Gospel Church the past 33 years. She loved to be entertaining family and friends, often hosting large garden parties. She enjoyed gardening, decorating, woodworking, writing, cooking and shopping. Twylla was preceded in death by her parents, an infant son and brother Lyle. She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Roy, daughter Paula (Greg) Baich, Bovey, MN , son Darcy (Julie), Duluth grandchildren Angela (Michael) Trader, of Texas, Kevin Tobin of Aurora, CO, Kelly (Joe) Borash, Duluth, Kacie (Jim) Doherty, Oliver, WI, Sara Peterson of Coon Rapids, great-granddaughter Madalyn Trader of Texas, sisters Gladys Senarighi , Eveleth and Delila Lukkasson, Duluth, sister in law Barbara Peabody, Duluth and her special furry friends Rascal and Daisy. Visitation 1 PM until the 2 PM funeral service Saturday, at Apostolic Gospel Church, 3882 Haines Road, Duluth. Burial at Oneota Cemetery. Arrangements by Williams-Lobermeier-Boettcher Funeral Home.
