Violet Talbot

Violet Florence Talbot 99, of Duluth passed away April 2nd 2018 at Viewcrest Nursing Home. Violet was born March 21, 1919 in Duluth, MN.  The daughter of Henry & Ida Malzac. She was a member of VFW Post 137 Auxiliary for many years helping to prepare & serve meals. She as involved with many activities that benefited the Vets. She also was a maid at the Seaway Hotel for a number of years. Violet was preceded in death by her parents, 3 husbands Richard E Ellwood Sr., John MacDonald and Joseph Talbot. 3 sons Richard Jr., Ralph & Frank Ellwood, daughter in law Faye Ellwood, 3 grandchildren and all her siblings.  She is survived by 3 sons Donald (Jeannie), William (Lisa), Charles (Theresa) Ellwood, daughter Florence (Larry) Pierce, 20 grandchildren, 38 great grandchildren and 1 on the way. 3 great- great grandchildren and numerous nieces & nephews. Service will be Friday April 13th at 1 p.m. at Williams -Lobermeier Funeral Home 3208 W 3rd St. After the service there will be coffee at Midtown Manor 2021 W 2nd St.
