William Kenneth Guldner

On March 23rd 2026 Bill left this world and went to be with his wife, Anna on the other side, who he loved and missed deeply.

He came to Duluth at age 14 and started working at 7-Up Bottling. He worked there until he was drafted at 19 into the Army Infantry. He was stationed in Germany, where he met Anna and fell in love on the dance floor. He married her and brought her home to Duluth. When he finished that enlistment, he served another 6 years in the Army Reserves. He then worked for West End Iron and Metal until he retired in 2004. He was then a full-time caretaker for Anna after her stroke. He took good care of her until her passing in March of 2022. He really enjoyed hunting, fishing and being in the great outdoors in his free time. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife and one great-grandchild. Survived by son, Carl (Leah) Guldner; daughter, Jane Higgins; grandchildren, Joshua and Jacob Guldner, Mike (Misty) and Matt Kauther, and Amy (Tony) Honkala; five great grandchildren; and many good friends. A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00pm on Tuesday, April 7, 2026 at Williams Lobermeier Boettcher Funeral Home, 3208 W. 3rd Street, Duluth with a Visitation beginning at 12:00pm.
