Claudine Sharon Hansen, 81, of West Redwing St, died Monday, October 25, 2021 in her home. Claudine was born on November 5, 1939 in Glendive, Montana to Frank and Vera Fleischmann. Claudine was a 1957 graduate of Central High School married Lawrence Hansen on June 10, 1961 in Trinity Lutheran Church. She worked for Robert Swanstrom DDS, St. Luke’s Radiology and retired from St. Luke’s Admitting Department. Claudine was a faithful member of Trinity Lutheran Church where she was active with the Altar Guild, Circle, Trinity Travelers, Quilting and After Service Coffee Hour. Knitting Club, Red Hat Club and the “Class of 57” group were important social times for her. She was past treasurer of the Harris Bay Lake Association on the Whiteface Reservoir.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Larry; a brother, Jim Fleischmann.
She is survived by her children, Dawn Giuliani (Phil Johnson) of Duluth, Karen (Rick) Anderson of Duluth, Mark (Lisa) of Eden Prairie, MN and Paul of Denver, CO; Claudine’s significant other, Jerry Ewer and family; six grandchildren, Alex Giuliani, Toni (Beau) Giuliani Hughes, Stephanie and Natalie (Jack Baker) Anderson, and Elena and Zachary Hansen; a brother, Frank Fleischmann of Long Island, NY; many nieces and nephews.
Visitation 10 am until the 11 am funeral service Saturday, October 30, 2021 at Trinity Lutheran Church. 1108 East 8th St. Masks are required. Vicar Shivon Miller officiating. Entombment at Park Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Trinity Lutheran Church would be appreciated. Arrangements by Williams Lobermeier Boettcher Funeral Home.
