Delores Mae (Johnson) Senarighi, 86, of Hermantown went home to Jesus Saturday, February 20, 2021. Delores was born May 10, 1934 to Henry and Beatrice Johnson in Duluth, MN. In 1953 she graduated from Hermantown High School. On July 5, 1957 she married Marvin Senarighi, together they raised their family, built a home and built a sweet, loving marriage lasting almost 50 years. Delores worked at a dairy farm in her younger years, Duluth Paper & Specialties and as a bookkeeper for Piedmont Plaza and various trucking companies until her retirement. Delores was a life-long member of the Duluth Gospel Tabernacle, involved in Sunday School ministry, cooking meals for various church functions and singing in the choir. She loved to crochet, making afghans for her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed camping with family and friends, bowling, and preparing Sunday dinners for her growing family. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; step father, Axel Peterson; an infant son; sister, Beverly Amundson; step brother, Robert “Pete” Peterson; and step sister, June Miller. Delores is survived by three children, Bonnie (Alan) Jusczak of Duluth, Todd (Pam) Senarighi of Hermantown and Robin (Steve) McNiff of Grand Rapids; seven grandchildren, Nicole (SFC Matt) West of Fort Sam Houston, TX, Tawnya Jusczak of Duluth, Heidi (Zach) Schlottman of White Bear Lake, Tyler (Kyra) Jusczak of Duluth, Stephanie Senarighi of Duluth, Jamie Senarighi of Shelbyville, TN and Emily McNiff of Honolulu, HI; 13 great-grandchildren; step sister, Ruth Pehl of Duluth; sister-in-law, Gladys Senarighi of Virginia, MN and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Saturday, March 13, 2021 at Duluth Gospel Tabernacle starting at 10:00 am followed by 11:00 am service. The family requests those attending to wear masks and be mindful of social distancing. Rev. Rolf Fure and Rev. Rebecca Happanen will be officiating.
