Thinking of all the times that myself and my family would get together with Mark and his family to camp and fish. Whether it was canoeing on the St. Croix and trying to keep my watercraft upright or for sharing time in Mark's pride and joy boat on the St. Louis River trying to find some fish that would bite. Mark was always a delight to share conversation with in a boat, preparing a shore lunch or actually anytime. His quiet, friendly, caring demeanor was always heart felt. I will miss his loving kindness. Rest in peace.

Mark's family and mine go way back to my grandparents shopping at his dad's grocery store.  Then Mark and sister, Mary, growing up together with my sisters and I at Trinity Lutheran Church on 27th Avenue West and Grand, one block over from their grocery store.  As I grew older, I sang in the choir with their mom, Ruby.  And then Mark married one of my best friends, Mary.  Mary later worked with my friend, Grace.  Funny how God has connected us all.  Just a few years ago Grace, Bruce, my husband, Vern, and I were able to visit Mark at Marywood.  After visiting awhile he said Linda Gauthier!  I said, Mark, you remember me!  Such a special afternoon we had visiting and reminiscing.  Mark is one great guy and now gets to rest and be with his Mary and Jeff.  Our sympathies to you, Mary, but some day you will have a wonderful family reunion.  Our love and prayers to you, Mary.
